Our craft studios offer visitors the opportunity to watch crafts people at work and buy directly from them. Our resident makers are happy to discuss your individual requirements to create that special one-off piece. Please telephone the individual makers to confirm opening times or arrange an appointment.

Artisan Shop One: Villa Rosie

Rosie creates made to measure Roman blinds along with custom-made textile creations. In addition to using popular fabrics, Rosie creates unique and limited edition designs incorporating treasured vintage linens and her own free motion machine embroidery. These are often showcased first, and sometimes exclusively, at her studio shop.

Artisan Shop Two: Rachael Ann Bird

Rachael Ann Bird Goldsmith is an independent jeweller who specialises in designing and creating personalised jewellery. Working with precious metals and gems stones, unique wedding and engagement rings, necklaces, earrings, bangles, cufflinks and brooches are crafted by hand. Old inherited treasures can be restored or transformed into bespoke pieces of your choice.
