Artisan Shop Three : Freya Morgan - FeverLeaf
Freya Morgan - Fever Leaf
Freya Morgan is an artist turned designer-maker. She creates colourful one-of-a-kind clothing including reversible skirts and unusual carnivalesque items such as waistcoats with hoods and tails. Wherever possible she uses reclaimed fabrics, sourced from charity shops, flea markets or odds and ends from previous creations. These are complimented by vibrant Indian cottons and silks, naturally dyed and block-printed by hand in Gujarat. All items are hand-made in the FeverLeaf studio shop at the Black Swan, and nothing goes to waste!
Freya is busy dreaming up new ways to use scraps of fabric and embroidery to create beautiful wearable pieces with a 'gypsy-pixie' feel! She is also designing and making a collection of macramé jewellery, and feather & leather festival adornments. Her background in sculpture and installation art has given her a passion for creating one-off wearable creations that are a little out of the ordinary.
FeverLeaf also accepts commissions, small sewing repairs and alterations, and will be offering upcycling workshops in the future.
