Openstorytellers celebrate the story of Ceridwen's Cauldron
Sat 30 November 2013 to Sat 4 January 2014
Openstorytellers are celebrating on Tue 3 December, the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities. More than 1 billion people or 15% of the world population are living with disabilities - the world's largest and most disadvantaged group.
Openstorytellers are thrilled to launch a creative installation on the Plinth in Black Swan Arts. The story of 'Ceridwen's Cauldron' shows how people with disabilities are often left out or pushed aside. The team of storytellers with learning disabilities have spent time exploring this ancient Welsh tale, what it means to them and how it feels to be ignored.
