Beyond the Sightlines 20 June – July 12
Sarah Godsil has spent three years recording daily life and events at the Merlin Theatre in Frome as their resident visual artist. This exhibition is about fleeting moments, observations, the process of seeing, feeling, and reflecting. It is also about line and shape, rhythmic tension and repetition.
Caroline Sharp Enjoy the Earth Gently 20 June - 12 July
Caroline Sharp has an established career as both a landscape architect and artist and has shown work throughout the UK including the recent exhibition Urban Field at Contemporary Applied Arts in London.
The work within this exhibition reflects Caroline's continuing need to connect to the earth and the natural world. Issue's of sustainability; the fragile of permanence to impermanence and our own mortality are increasingly important influences in her work.
